Role: Site Engineer
Location: Midleton, Co. Cork
Company Type: Main Contractor
Salary: €50,000-55,000 DOE
Job Type: Permanent

Our client is an established Irish main contractor delivering projects across education, healthcare, residential, commercial and industrial sectors. They are recruiting a Site Engineer for a residential development in Midleton, Co. Cork. This is a setting out focused role on a long-term scheme.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for setting out across the development, covering roads, drainage, foundations and unit layouts
• Work from drawings and specifications to ensure the build matches the design
• Check levels and dimensions as works progress across multiple units
• Keep accurate site records, as built information and progress reports
• Liaise with the Site Manager and subcontractors on sequencing and site queries
• Support quality control, BCAR compliance and health and safety

Requirements

• Proven Site Engineer experience with a main contractor
• Residential development experience
• Strong setting out skills, including total station, GPS and level
• Able to read and work from construction drawings and specifications
• Good working knowledge of BCAR requirements
• Valid Safe Pass and relevant site certifications
