Role: Site Engineer
Location: Cork

Salary: €55,000 – €70,000 DOE
Job Type: Permanent

Our client is a civil engineering contractor based in Cork. They are recruiting a Site Engineer to take responsibility for setting out and site delivery across their projects. You will be working predominantly on public realm projects for main contractors and public bodies. 

Responsibilities

• Setting out and survey control across the site
• Managing and coordinating subcontractors on site
• Carrying out quality checks against drawings and specifications
• Keeping accurate site records, as built information and progress reports
• Liaising with the main contractor and client representatives
• Supporting health and safety compliance on site

Requirements

• Site Engineer experience on civils or public realm projects
• Strong setting out skills, including total station, GPS and level
• Able to read and work from construction drawings and specifications
• Experience coordinating subcontractors
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Valid Safe Pass and relevant site certifications
