Our client is a leading Tier 2 main contractor delivering projects across education, healthcare, residential, commercial and industrial sectors. They are recruiting a Contracts Manager based in Midleton, Co. Cork, with responsibility for the delivery of projects in the region.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the delivery of projects in the region
• Manage the Project Managers and Site Managers running each site
• Own programme, cost and quality performance across projects
• Work with the commercial team on budgets, variations and cost reporting
• Manage subcontractor procurement and performance
• Set and maintain health and safety standards across all sites
• Report to senior management on progress, risk and forecast
• Act as the senior point of contact for clients and design teams
• Support tendering and preconstruction planning on upcoming work

Requirements

• Proven Contracts Manager experience with a main contractor
• Track record managing multiple live projects at once
• Strong commercial awareness and cost control experience
• Experience leading and developing site management teams
• Good working knowledge of BCAR and QEHS requirements
• Full, clean driving licence
