The Role

An established Irish main contractor is recruiting Site Managers for two flagship, ground-up aparthotel developments located in Dublin City Centre and Donnybrook.

You will take full responsibility for daily site execution, managing projects from groundworks and concrete structures through to fit-out, driving delivery to strict programme and budget targets while maintaining high EHS and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Ground-Up Delivery: Direct day-to-day site operations from initial groundworks, substructure, and structural frame through to final fit-out.

• Programme & Logistics: Plan, organize, and execute site activities within scope, managing material logistics and resource allocation on urban sites.

• Subcontractor Management: Lead direct site teams and coordinate trade sub-contractors, holding weekly progress and lookahead meetings.

• Quality & BCAR: Implement quality control procedures, manage BCAR inspections, and ensure full compliance with current building regulations.

• Stakeholder Coordination: Interface regularly with clients, design teams, QS personnel, and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues and track variations.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years as a Site Manager with a main contractor, delivering ground-up commercial, hospitality, or multi-unit builds.

• Education: Relevant third-level construction qualification or trade background.

• Regulatory Knowledge: Deep practical understanding of Irish building regulations, BCAR compliance, and site EHS standards.

• Leadership: Strong decision-making skills under pressure, with a proven track record coordinating complex, multi-trade projects.
