Supply Chain Analyst
£30,000 - £35,000 P/A
Fareham
Full time | Permanent | 40 hours per week
Do you already have experience working in supply chain, stock planning, purchasing, or a similar role?
Would you describe yourself as an Excel 'whizz' with capabilities in formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and building reports?

We are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Analyst to join their team.
The main purpose of this Supply Chain Analyst role is to oversee the flow of stock coming into the business, ensuring stock is available on time and in full to fulfill clients orders.
In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £35,000 P/A, depending on experience.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Understanding customer demand and building accurate forecasts for purchasing,
- Managing and placing orders, consistently reviewing supplier lead times,
- Driving product availability to support on time and in full deliveries to customers,
- Analysing sales trends and making appropriate recommendations,
- Ensuring everything remains within budget and quickly highlighting shortages or overstocks,
- Identifying slow moving items and excess stock and implementing actions to reduce it.
- Must be a very analytical person and have worked in supply chain, stock planning, purchasing or similar.
- Will be an advanced Excel user with experience using an ERP system, such as Sage, or similar.
- Must be highly organised, have excellent attention to detail, and have strong numerical capabilities.
- If you have experience using Power BI, or demand forecasting or similar reporting tools, this would be a huge advantage!
