Full time | Permanent |50 hours per week

Attega Group is working on behalf of our client as their in-house recruitment provider.

We are currently recruiting for a Reactive Drainage Engineer. to join their team.

The main purpose of this Reactive Drainage Engineer role is to play a crucial role within our reactive team supporting with reactive call outs and planned quoted works.

In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £44,000 P/A, depending on experience.

This role is full-time and permanent. The hours of work will be 5am -4pm however the times can change depending on the locations of the works.


Reporting to the Reactive Team Manager your responsibilities will include:

• Attend reactive emergency call outs to clear internal above ground blockages, including soil stacks, floats lines and small bore pipework.
• Identify configuration and design issues within internal drainage systems.
• Assisting other plumbing operatives with quoted works which will consist of both small reactive works and large internal above ground drainage replacements.
• Undertake CCTV survey inspections where you will be responsible for identifying defects, pipe condition, design issues and misconnections within underground and above ground drainage systems.
• Utilise your drainage and plumbing background to handle internal drainage, plumbing, and camera work.
• Demonstrate proficiency in high-pressure water jetting techniques.

The ideal candidate:

• Previous drainage experience
• All offers made by the client are subject to DBS Checks
• The client performs random drug testing throughout employment and including induction week
• Lunches are unpaid breaks
• Plumbing experience
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Good Work Ethic
• High Pressure Water Jetting Ticket
