Warehouse Supervisor
£38,000 - £45,000 per annum  (DOE)
Kempston, Bedford
Full time | Permanent | 40 hours per week

Attega Group is working on behalf of our client as their in-house recruitment provider.
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor to join their team.

The main purpose of this Warehouse Supervisor role is to oversee the efficient day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring stock, deliveries, and materials are accurately managed and ready to support engineering operations.

In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £38,000 - £45,000 P/A, depending on experience.

This role is full-time and permanent. The hours of work will be 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday: 06:00 - 15:00.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing daily warehouse and yard operations
• Managing incoming deliveries, checking and allocating stock
• Preparing materials and consumables for upcoming jobs
• Building job-specific pallets for engineers
• Maintaining stock levels of consumables, spare parts, and PPE
• Ensuring accurate system updates and inventory records
• Liaising with engineers, procurement, and operations teams
• Managing returned materials and minimising waste
• Maintaining warehouse organisation, cleanliness, and safety
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
• Coordinating equipment testing, certification, and maintenance

The ideal candidate:

• 5+ years’ experience in warehouse operations or supervision
• Strong organisational and inventory management skills
• Experience working within engineering or industrial environments (desirable)
• Forklift licence (essential or highly desirable)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Proactive, hands-on approach with problem-solving ability
• Good understanding of health & safety compliance
• IT literate across Microsoft Office and stock management systems
