Trainee Drainage Repairs Engineer

£13 per hour | 45 hour contract 

Stockport & Surrounding areas

Full Time Permanent | Monday to Friday – 07:00 – 16:00 but need to be flexible due to locations of work.

Attega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client in recruiting a Trainee Drainage Repairs Engineer to join the team.

The main purpose of the Trainee Drainage Repairs Engineer is to work alongside the Lead Drainage Repairs Engineer  performing below ground drainage, replace manhole frames and excavate by hand when needed.

In return, our client is offering a salary o£13 per hour. 

This is a full-time/part time, permanent/contract role (delete if not needed). The hours of work will be 07:00 – 16:00 but need to be flexible for occasional stay aways, night shifts etc.

Reporting to the Repairs Drainage Engineer & hiring manager your responsibilities will include:

Repair below-ground drainage systems to a high standard.

Replace manhole frames and covers efficiently.

Excavate by hand (not solely reliant on machinery).

Replace gullies with precision and care.

Complete all types of reinstatements (paving, tarmac, concrete, etc.).
