Are you Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline, to BEng level or higher?
Have you got strong working knowledge of 3D CAD systems, with experience using packages such as SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor?

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Process Engineer to join their team.
The main purpose of this Senior Process Engineer role is to lead the design, development, and delivery of bespoke fluid handling and process systems across the Group.
In return, is a salary of up to £50,000 P/A, depending on experience.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead and coordinate the day to day design activities of process and design engineers across multiple projects, ensuring priorities, workloads, and technical quality are maintained.
- Develop turnkey process and fluid handling solutions to meet customer requirements, working collaboratively with the wider mechanical, electrical, and controls teams.
- Attend client meetings and site visits to define scope, clarify process requirements, and support the development of accurate technical solutions.
- Provide technical input to the Sales team, responding to complex technical queries and supporting the preparation of accurate, deliverable quotations.
- Lead and contribute to research and development activities for new products and process systems, including concept development, trials, and standardisation where appropriate.
- Provide technical support to the workshop and operations teams during manufacture, assembly, and testing, resolving design and build issues as they arise.
- Liaise with external suppliers and subcontractors to support system design, equipment selection, and procurement activities.
- Will be Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline, to BEng level or higher.
- Must have strong working knowledge of 3D CAD systems, with experience using packages such as SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor.
- Will require a proven track record in the design and delivery of engineered process systems, from concept through to manufacture and handover.
- Will have demonstrated ability to lead design activities across multiple projects, including prioritising workloads and overseeing the work of design engineers.
- Must be confident in reading, producing, and interpreting P and ID drawings and associated process documentation.
- Will need excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams both verbally and in writing.
- Must have a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
- Will need strong technical understanding of process systems, ideally within food and beverage or similar regulated manufacturing environments.
