Mechanical Resident Engineer

• Location: Birmingham
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• On-call: 1 in every 2 weeks
• Basic Salary: £40-£45k

We’re on the lookout for a skilled Mechanical Resident Engineer to join our team and provide top-tier support to a key client site. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, takes pride in delivering high-quality building services, and thrives in a client-focused environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on mechanical systems.
• Responding swiftly and effectively to reactive maintenance issues.
• Supporting landlord services across the site, ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently.
• Collaborating with other on-site engineers and site management.
• Participating in a shared on-call rota (1 in every 2 weeks).

What you’ll need:

• NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience working in a commercial or building environment.
• A proactive, problem-solving attitude and good communication skills.
