About Us

Our client delivers high-quality construction and engineering solutions across the UK, specialising in design and build, mechanical and electrical services, and specialist fit-out projects. Our clients span sectors including healthcare, commercial, and public services.

They are growing and looking for an experienced and proactive Site Manager to join a dynamic team. This is a national role, so flexibility to travel and work away from home when required is essential.

The Role

  • Maintain site records, including daily diaries, risk assessments, method statements, and site inductions.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and the internal team to ensure smooth communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor progress and report regularly to the Project Manager or Contracts Manager.
  • Ensure materials, labour, and equipment are available on site as required.
  • Conduct site inspections and manage snagging and handover processes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry, ideally in fit-out or M&E projects.
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
  • CSCS card (Black/Gold or equivalent)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel and stay away when needed
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction documents
