Attega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client in recruiting a Facilities Manager to join the team.

The main purpose of this role is to oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of planned and reactive maintenance tasks for our facilities management contract at our London/Southeast location. Ensure the efficient operation of healthcare engineering systems and compliance with health and safety regulations.


In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £60,000 P/A, depending on experience, plus 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, bonus based on individual performance and company performance, pension scheme and many more.

This is a full-time, permanent role. The hours of work will be 45 hours a week Monday – Friday and weekend availability.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively forecast and plan resources for all planned maintenance, providing a schedule for all site teams to ensure works are carried out on time. Respond to reactive requests issued by the client as necessary.
  • Ensure scheduled tasks are completed accurately and in accordance with operational manuals and technical specifications.
  • Record all tasks and report any defects, resolving them within specified SLAs or as soon as possible.
  • Communicate with the client and key stakeholders, providing regular progress reports.
  • Conduct site inspections and troubleshoot technical issues as required.
  • Provide technical support to the project team, including engineers, technicians, and contractors.
  • Understand the operation and function of healthcare engineering systems and key components of a Building Management System that controls and monitors HVAC systems.
  • Ensure all tasks comply with relevant health and safety regulations.

The ideal candidate:

  • Strong knowledge and experience in undertaking planned and reactive maintenance within a sterile services department environment or similar.
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Understanding of building management systems and their components.
  • Competent in the use of CAFM systems.
  • Team player: Builds relationships, works well with others and contributes to a positive environment
