Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer - SC
Location: Hybrid- The role will be hybrid – Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield - 60% weekly in one of these offices.
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Daily Rate: £750/day (Umbrella – Maximum)
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Security Clearance: SC

Essential:

• AWS – expert level
• Provisioning services in AWS using Terraform – expert level
• Ansible – expert level
• Containerisation – expert level
• Container orchestration Kubernetes – senior level
• GitLab CI – expert level
• Experience of creating technical documentation– expert level

 Job Summary:

Senior DevOps Engineer required to lead and support the delivery of AWS environments and code deployments produced by the Benefits Supporting Services (BSS) team, creating a DevOps culture and implementing automation best practices. This will include coaching, mentoring and supporting the team.

• Building, improving and deploying reliable services, including production of documentation.
• Spotting instances where team not using best practices and advising how to improve
• Lead on large pieces of work
• Ability to share knowledge

Environment build and support using automation and best practice. Supporting the development and test capability within AWS environments.

Working in Benefit Supporting Services, covering DevOps for legacy benefit systems
