Job Description

Role: Commercial Manager

Location: Birmingham, West Midlands (3 days/week on site)

IR35: Inside

Rate: £450-500/day (MAX)

Duration: 6 Months

This role is to liaise with Sponsors and work with them to form agreements for the design, development and implementation of projects.

They are required to identify agreements required and the timescales upon which these must be delivered. Working with Corporate Commercial to make sure the agreements do actually reflect requirements from the sponsors and associated risks.

• Working with the sponsors lead the formation of agreements for the design, development and implementation of projects.
• Liaise with sponsors to understand what agreements are required and by when. Maintain a tracker providing full visibility of agreements required.
• Work with Corporate Commercial to ensure agreements reflect the sponsors requirements and accurately capture any risks associated with the works/services
• Provide coaching and development to the sponsors as appropriate.

Essential skills & experience

• Ability to work in a team and across different functions/organisations
• Good communicator
• Ability to drive through agreements to conclusion
• Experience of writing scope documents
• Experience of writing up contractual and funding agreements
• Good stakeholder and communication skills in order to liaise effectively with the sponsors to formulate agreements accurately
• Experience of commercial reporting
• Experience identifying risks
