Location: Aberdeen (Hybrid Working Available)
Contract: 6 Months (Mid to End of April Start)
Working Hours: 9-hour days (including 1-hour lunch)
Travel: Occasional travel to vendor sites required

ASCO Workforce Solutions are seeking an experienced Onshore Logistics Coordinator on behalf of our client, to support drilling and production operations by delivering safe, efficient, and cost-effective logistics and materials coordination. The role will interface closely with onshore and offshore teams, suppliers, and logistics providers to ensure seamless execution of drilling programmes and support offshore production operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistics and materials in support of offshore drilling and production operations
  • Compile and manage load lists within the Kabal system, shipment schedules, and material movements
  • Liaise with offshore teams, vendors, and supply base to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials
  • Verify and manage equipment certification and compliance requirements prior to shipping
  • Coordinate backload and return of materials from offshore locations
  • Utilise cost tracking systems (e.g. CTX) to monitor and report project spend
  • Support planning activities including vessel and operational lookahead planning
  • Ensure compliance with best practice industry guidelines for safe packing and transportation of cargo
  • Participate in audits, cost reviews, and operational meetings
  • Communicate material requirements to suppliers and co ordinate deliveries, ensuring the logistics system is fully updated, compliant with standards, and that any discrepancies or issues are resolved promptly.
  • Ensure all chemicals and bulks comply with the Approved Chemical Permit prior to shipment.

Minimum Competencies

  • Proven experience in onshore / offshore drilling logistics coordination
  • Strong knowledge of materials control and supply chain processes within oil & gas
  • Experience with Kabal 
  • Experience using CTX or similar cost tracking systems (desirable)
  • Previous experience as a DMC (Drilling Materials Coordinator) (desirable)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, operational environment
