We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for Ad-hoc Industrial Services Driver Operative
This role will encompass but will not be limited to the industrial cleaning or tanks, vessels, silos and pits across a large client base. The successful candidate will operate industrial services HGV jetting and vacuum units including bulk liquid tankers. Some travel will be required to service various client sites. Duties include:
Key Responsibilities:
- To engage all external and internal customer by communicating in a friendly and professional manner ensuring that they are left with a lasting positive impression of our service.
- To act and operate in a safe and professional manner in order to safeguard the health and safety of oneself along with that of any others (colleagues, contractors, visitors and customers alike).
- Deliver the customer’s expectations on the service requested which will include the use of existing and new technologies.
- Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to Health and Safety, Quality Management ensuring that formal procedures, standing instructions and safety standards are complied with at all times.
- Adhere to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment and materials for which the role has responsibility.
- Operate vehicles in a safe and effective manner to minimise the risk of injury or damage to other vehicles and property.
- Perform and document daily safety and maintenance checks.
- Ensure vehicles and equipment are safely and securely stored.
- Ensure weight distribution does not exceed gross 32 tonnes (Jet-vac) & 44 Tonnes gross (tanker).
- Monitor own working hours to be compliant with EU driver's regulations and the working time directive.
- Carriage of Dangerous Goods in line with ADR regulations.
- Ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner, in accordance with HSEQ procedures.
Qualifications:
- Full UK driving licence (HGV C&E)
- IOSH Working safely.
- Drivers CPC

Desirable Competencies:
- ADR licence
- Strong knowledge of the maintenance of high pressure water jetting and large industrial vacuum plants
HSSEQ:
- In partnership with the HSE department, support the continuous improvement of safety and environmental performance and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Report all incidents or breaches of policy or regulation to the line manager.
- Fully endorse the organisation’s “Stop the Job” policy and demonstrate proactive intervention where unsafe acts or conditions are observed.
- Adhere to the integrated management system, ensuring document control and continuous improvement of key processes.
