This role will encompass but will not be limited to the industrial cleaning of various tanks, vessels, silos and pits for a large client base. Driving of industrial services HGV jetting and vacuum units including bulk liquid tankers. Some travel will be required to service the clients that make the request.
To engage all external and internal customers by communicating in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring that they are left with a lasting positive impression of our service.
Identify best jets or methods for cleaning a wide range of heavy industrial plant operations, using business-supplied technology, equipment and vehicles to provide industrial services and waste management to the business client base.
To act and operate in a safe and professional manner in order to safeguard the health and safety of oneself along with that of others (colleagues, contractors, visitors and customers alike).
Deliver the customer’s expectations on the service requested, which will include the use of existing and new technologies.
Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to Health and Safety and Quality Management, ensuring that formal procedures, standing instructions and safety standards are complied with at all times.
Adhere to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment and materials for which the role has responsibility.
Operate vehicles in a safe and effective manner to minimise the risk of injury or damage to other vehicles and property.
Perform and document daily safety and maintenance checks.
Ensure vehicles and equipment are safely and securely stored.
Ensure weight distribution does not exceed gross 32 tonnes (Jet-vac) and 44 tonnes gross (tanker).
Monitor own working hours to be compliant with EU drivers’ regulations and the working time directive.
Carriage of Dangerous Goods in line with ADR regulations.
Ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner, in accordance with HSEQ procedures.
Some time working away is essential.
Carry out ad-hoc duties as required by the business within your capabilities.
Full UK driving licence (HGV C&E)

Report all incidents or breaches of policy or regulations to the line manager.
Fully endorse The Client’s ‘Stop the Job’ policy and commitment to proactive intervention where an unsafe act or condition is observed.
Adhere to The Client’s integrated management system ensuring document control and improvements to key processes are maintained.
