�� We’re Hiring: Yard Operative (Environmental Team) ��

Are you experienced in waste management operations and looking for your next challenge? Join our clients Environmental Team as a Yard Operative and play a key role in the safe and efficient processing of client waste materials, ensuring compliance with all regulations and industry standards.

�� Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload vehicles using company equipment (diggers, forklifts, air tools/pumps).

• Safely handle, process, and prepare hazardous/special waste for dispatch.

• Sort, bulk, and repackage materials as directed by the Site Chemist.

• Inspect, clean, and re-label reusable shipping containers.

• Complete documentation accurately and keep records up to date.

• Maintain high housekeeping standards across yard and operating areas.

• Promote a strong HSEQ culture and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Build strong working relationships across the business.

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Hands-on experience in waste management operations.

• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.

• Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• IT literacy, including Microsoft Office.

• Full UK Driving Licence (essential).

�� Desirable Qualifications

• Material Re-handler 360° Digger

• NPORS (or equivalent)

• Forklift certificate

• Dangerous Goods & Oil Spill Awareness

• Water Jetting experience

• Confined Space & Rescue
