Material Operative

Location: Aberdeen
Reporting to: Operations Manager

We are recruiting a Material Operative in Aberdeen on behalf of our oil and gas client. This role supports the efficient receipt, storage, maintenance, and shipment of materials, ensuring safe and accurate inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and manage materials in line with client procedures.

• Process stock movements, returns, and disposals using SAP.

• Maintain a safe, clean working environment with a strong focus on health & safety.

• Build positive working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.

• Support continuous improvement across warehouse operations.

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• National 5 / Standard Grades (or equivalent)

• Valid 0–5T and 5–15T Counterbalance Forklift Licences

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Awareness of safety practices (e.g., COSHH, Manual Handling, Dangerous Goods)

Desirable:

• Previous experience in logistics or operational support
