Position: CCU Controller
Location: Aberdeen South
Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00–16:30 (30-minute lunch break)
Employment Type: Full-time
We're looking for an experienced CCU Controller to oversee the rental CCU fleet at our client’s warehouse. This key role ensures CCU availability, compliance, and safety while supporting logistics and lifting operations. You'll coordinate inspections, manage certifications, and track fleet activity using ERP systems (SAP).
Manage rental CCU fleet to ensure availability and operational readiness
Oversee inspections and certifications of CCUs and lifting equipment in line with compliance standards
Act as point of contact for CCU requests across sites, coordinating with quayside teams
Maintain accurate records of CCU movements in SAP (on-hire/off-hire, inventory updates)
Collaborate with the lifting team to manage inspection schedules, using a color-coded system
Maintain certificate registers for lifting equipment
Supervise the CCU/NDT Inspector and ensure adequate operational coverage
Uphold high standards of site safety and housekeeping
Provide support to the lifting team as required
Proven experience managing CCU operations
In-depth knowledge of CCU and lifting equipment regulations (BS EN 12079 & DNV-GL 2.7-1)
ERP system experience (SAP preferred)
OPITO Banksman Slinger (Stage 3/4 preferred; Stage 1/2 considered)
Forklift licence
Overhead crane experience
Strong background in lifting operations and team supervision
Certification in lifting/rigging inspection
