Job Description

OBM are currently recruiting for reliable and committed Banksman Slingers (Stage 1-4) for our clients quayside operations in both Aberdeen and Peterhead - this will be on an ad hoc basis.

Job Duties:

• Support quayside operations and undertake cargo handling and vessel loading/unloading in line with operating instructions and HSSEQ standards.
• Loading/offloading CCUs from vehicles by forklift truck.
• Undertake berthing of vessels on all quayside locations in accordance with company procedure.
• Co-ordinate and control the safe and efficient loading/offloading of vessels.
• Assist in the co-ordination and processing of all crane lifting operations and utilise transport to ensure vessels are turned around in accordance with Operations/Shipping plans.
• Liaise with Quayside Supervisor, communicating any problems/delays with cargo operations
