OBM are currently recruiting for Platform Materials Controller for our leading oil and gas service client for the 3rd of Feb 2026 to 10th Feb 2026

- Possibility of early mob (30th Jan or 2nd Feb)

The successful candidate will have the following skills:

• Experienced Material Controller with experience offshore of managing flow of materials from requisition to installation.
• In-depth knowledge of materials admin, supply, logistics etc. within offshore oil and gas industry
• Ability to communicate effectively with personnel internally and externally representing client.
• Effectively manage a team including distribution of workload, identifying training requirements and conduction appraisals.
• Competent at compiling, reviewing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with Materials Management procedures.
• Experience using procurement software e.g., Maximo, SAP, etc.
• Inventory management experience including Warehouse and Vendor Inventory Checks/Reconciliation.
• Reconciliation and management of "non-inventory" items, communicate with relevant discipline engineers and departments and agree suitability for use, add to inventory or disposal.
• Commitment to HSSEQ, implementing and promoting company policies and procedures.
