Job Title: Banksman Slinger (Ad Hoc)

About the Role:

We’re currently seeking experienced Banksman Slingers to support busy quayside operations in Aberdeen on an ad hoc basis. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of loads, supporting vessel operations, and maintaining high safety standards across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and coordinate crane and lifting operations safely and effectively
• Conduct visual checks and ensure loads are secure prior to movement
• Communicate clearly with crane operators and deck crews using approved signals
• Maintain compliance with all site safety regulations and lifting procedures
• Assist with general quayside and cargo handling duties as required

Requirements:

• Valid Banksman Slinger Assessment or Reassessment (mandatory)
• Proven experience in a similar quayside or offshore lifting environment
• Strong awareness of HSE standards and safe lifting practices
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing operational needs
• Immediate availability preferred
