Package Details:

The successful candidate will receive a basic salary of between £26,000 - £28,000 depending on experience & qualifications.

Purpose of the role:

As a Business Manager, you will support the team by managing client communication and service delivery. This role is integral to maintaining high client satisfaction and ensuring seamless business processes.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Achieve a comprehensive understanding of the new business process and assist in developing where necessary.
  • Submitting all forms of new business applications on relevant platforms and internal systems.
  • Liaise with clients and providers in a professional manner to get access to necessary plans whether that’s pensions, investments or protection.
  • Ensuring that cases are progressed to the point of transfer completion, (funds are on the platform & invested, plans are in place, client has received tax-free cash) ready for the client servicing manager.
  • Keeping client details up to date across all relevant systems and platforms.
  • Follow the correct procedures to close off transferred plans or setting up of platform accounts.
  • Keeping client documents and notes for each case within their records.
  • Send communication to client regularly to keep them updated on the movement of their transfers or funds and update once new plans are in place, along with policy documents, where applicable.
  • Present weekly to your team with updates on cases, spreadsheets should be continually updated.
  • Ensure all cases are signed off by the Compliance Department and all pre- submissions are progressed until completion.
  • Liaising with clients to arrange medical appointments when it comes to protection applications
  • Ensuring your adviser’s fees are on the weekly dashboard and get paid.
  • Any other reasonable task that may be asked of you such as letter posting.


The Ideal Employee:

  • Customer/Client service useful but not essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to develop client trust and confidence, and a collaborative team-player mindset.
  • Organised and methodical approach with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience with financial planning tools and back-office systems is advantageous but not essential.
  • Ability to prioritise workload independently, multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


Experience required:

No Financial Services experience necessary.


Working Hours:

8.30am – 5pm (1 hour for Lunch) 3pm Finish on Fridays.
