IFA Administrator/ Fully Funded Exam Support


Glynde, East Sussex

Full-time, 37.5 hours/week (Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm)
Office-based
Circa £35,000 DOE
25 days holiday + bank holidays + birthday off

About Us

Barwells Wealth is a long-established, client-focused financial planning firm with  circa £100m AUM. We deliver proper financial planning, not sales, not volume, built around long-term relationships and detailed client understanding. With two advisers soon to be three, we’re looking for a dependable, career-minded administrator who wants to be part of a close-knit, growing team.

 

Client Administration & Servicing

  • First point of contact for clients, phone, email, and in person
  • Prepare the meeting room, refreshments, and paperwork
  • Coordinate birthday cards, thank you notes, client gifts
  • Manage incoming/outgoing post and occasional Post Office trips
  • Keep the CRM, Enable, accurate and up to date

Annual Review Support

  • Carry out AML and ID checks
  • Pull valuation statements and prep review packs
  • Book and follow up on client meetings
  • Handle post-meeting admin

Business Processing

  • Issue Letters of Authority, chase providers, track new business
  • Submit new business applications and keep clients informed
  • Maintain marketing lists e.g. newsletters

Light Operational Tasks

  • Help with things like the stationery order, fire alarm tests, and general office upkeep
  • Be a reliable team presence when others are out of the office

 

Must-Haves:

  • A few years’ admin experience in an IFA, financial planning environment
  • Confident handling pensions and investments admin processes
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisation
  • Strong communication and a professional manner
  • Proactive and dependable, you take pride in doing things properly

 

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with Enable or similar CRM e.g. iO
  • Familiar with Voyant helpful but not essential
  • Some exams completed or working towards them
  • Knowledge of FCA-regulated processes
