This is a hands‑on architectural role for someone who excels at designing high‑performing, secure, and scalable applications.
About the Role
You’ll lead the technical direction for cloud-native and integrated business systems, working across Azure PaaS, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and modern integration patterns. You’ll translate business needs into solution designs, set architectural standards, and guide delivery teams across the full lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed solution architectures, diagrams, and documentation across cloud, application, data, and integration layers.
- Design Azure-based services using Logic Apps, Functions, API Management, Event-driven architecture, and related PaaS technologies.
- Define and implement Integration strategies, including data flow design, API patterns, and secure connectivity between systems.
- Architect solutions within Dynamics 365 (Customer Engagement & Finance/Operations) and ensure alignment with broader digital roadmaps.
- Build scalable frameworks using the Power Platform, including Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven), Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
- Support Infrastructure-as-Code approaches using tooling such as ARM/Bicep, Terraform, or Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Contribute to requirements gathering, scoping, and estimation for new projects and change initiatives.
- Oversee technical designs through delivery, ensuring alignment with standards, governance, and non-functional expectations.
- Lead workshops with stakeholders to explain architectural choices and explore solution options.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Microsoft cloud advancements and advise the business on opportunities and risks.
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong experience architecting solutions with Azure PaaS, including serverless compute, integration services, automation, events, and APIs.
- Confident working with Dynamics 365 CE/CRM and Dynamics 365 F&O/ERP platforms.
- Solid understanding of Power Platform architecture, ALM, governance frameworks, and environment strategy.
- Experience modelling data structures and system interactions using Dataverse, SQL Server, or similar.
- Proficiency with technical documentation: solution designs, sequence diagrams, data models, and implementation guides.
- Familiar with C#, .NET, JavaScript, and standards for modern software engineering.
- Strong grounding in Agile delivery practices, DevOps pipelines, and CI/CD automation.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical detail to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Capable of balancing short-term delivery needs with long-term architectural vision.
