Portfolio PMO Manager, Permanent, Hybrid working (2 days per week as a guide) P3O, MoP
An excellent opportunity to be at the centre of a multi year Business Transformation and beyond! Working in a blue chip client that values its people you will be a highly skilled Portfolio PMO Manager The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the PMO and portfolio delivery cycle,
Responsibilities:
- Manage the PMO, embed and ensure that all project and programme management processes and procedures are beneficial and adhered to in line with business and IT requirements, facilitating usage of PPM tool
- Define and maintain the portfolio delivery lifecycle, ensuring that it aligns with the company's strategic objectives
- Monitor Portfolio, Programme and Project performance and report progress to stakeholders on a regular basis
- Manage risks and issues, ensuring that appropriate action is taken to mitigate any potential problems
- Manage budgets and ensure that projects are delivered within budget
- Provide leadership and guidance to project managers and teams, ensuring that they have the necessary resources, budgets and support to deliver projects successfully
Requirements:
- Strong experience in PMO management and Portfolio Management
- Excellent knowledge of project management processes and procedures
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail
- P30, MSP, MoP will all be beneficial for the role.
