Job Description

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, based on a site in Bewl Water, near Tunbridge Wells, for an experienced Groundworker.

The successful candidate will assist with a range of civils and groundworks activities, working alongside excavator operators and other site personnel to ensure works are completed safely and to a high standard.

Key Duties

• Carry out general groundworks and civil engineering activities.
• Assist with excavation, drainage, trenching and backfilling.
• Install and work around underground drainage and pipework.
• Concrete preparation, shuttering and basic concreting duties.
• Carry out kerbing, ducting and associated groundwork activities.
• Assist excavator operators with banksman duties and safe excavation.
• Work around existing underground services.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Groundworker on civils or infrastructure projects.
• Previous water, utilities or water treatment experience would be advantageous.
• CSCS Blue Card
• CPCS/NPORS Dumper and Roller
• Cat & Genny Advantageous
• EUSR Water Hygiene or willingness to take the course (Funded)

• Monday to Friday 7:30am to 5pm
• £23 per hour
• 3 month project as a minimum
