Our client is offering an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious and motivated individual to join their growing commercial team as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor through a fully funded Degree Apprenticeship Programme.

This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in Quantity Surveying while earning a full-time salary and gaining valuable industry experience. You will work alongside experienced professionals on a variety of construction projects whilst studying towards a recognised Quantity Surveying degree.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial team with a range of duties including:

• Assisting with cost planning and budget management
• Supporting the preparation of valuations and applications for payment
• Assisting with subcontractor procurement and account management
• Monitoring project costs and reporting on financial performance
• Helping to prepare tender and contract documentation
• Supporting the management of variations and change control
• Working closely with project managers, site teams and commercial colleagues
• Developing a thorough understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes

Degree Apprenticeship Programme
This opportunity includes a fully funded Degree Apprenticeship with Wrexham University / Coleg Cambria

• One day per week dedicated to university/college attendance
• Four-year structured learning programme

What We're Looking For

• Strong interest in construction, commercial management or quantity surveying
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
• GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English
• A-levels, BTEC qualifications or equivalent suitable for Degree Apprenticeship entry requirements

What's on Offer

• From £24,000 year 1 salary with annual pay review throughout apprenticeship
• 4 days working and 1 day release for academic study
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
• First 2 years spent with Coleg Cambria then moving to Wrexham University to finish degree
• Bachelors Degree in Quantity Surveying once completed
