The Company
Able Bridge Recruitment are currently engaged with a real estate business with a difference. We are tasked with supporting them in the recruitment of a senior client reporting accountant for their office in central Scotland.

The role will report into the head of client reporting and will form part of a team of appropriately 7 other accounting professionals. The team are close knit, collaborative and is headed by a senior finance figure who is highly supportive.
This vacancy, the result of forecasted growth will report into the head of department and will be office based for at least 3 days per week.
The Responsibilities
The purpose of this role is to manage a portfolio of client accounts to ensure that financial transactions are recorded and documented. We are looking for someone who will also aid in the preparation of year end accounts for our clients customers.
On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be responsible for the following;
Be a key point of contact for clients, ensuring delivery of all reporting to your own designated portfolio as well as supporting the wider portfolio of clients.
Provide support to the immediate team, the wider internal teams and the client base, as required.
Develop and support processes within the team with view to financial analysis and financial reporting in line with client requirements/process improvement.
Approval of banking transactions in accordance with RICS Client Money Regs.
Completion of VAT returns and knowledge of partial exemption,
The Requirements
We require applicants who are either part qualified ACCA/CIMA, (who are actively sitting exams rather than by exemption), although our client may consider qualified by experience applicants. We are looking for candidates who are “technically” strong and who can build strong relationships with clients. Our client is based in central Scotland and offer a hybrid model of work, however applicants will need to be living and able to work of the central belt of Scotland. Communication skills in written and verbal form are crucial as is the ability to problem solve and be proactive in building client relationships.
Our client does not hold a license to offer study support so will only consider applicants who are able to work unrestricted within the UK and who are based in the immediate vicinity.
