Able Bridge Recruitment is delighted to be partnering a well-known software house based on the outskirts of Dundee. The role will report into the group finance manager and will deputise for them in their absence. The role holder will be accountable for the smooth running of an accounting team and will involve a large proportion of time business partnering the organisation.  The organisation was established in Scotland in the last 10 years and has boasted significant growth over the years.  So far, the organisation has been at the forefront of its sector and forecasts suggest that it could become one of the country’s biggest exporters in time to come.  

The purpose of the post is to provide management accounting support to the HR, IT and various department heads.  The role will include many aspects of the finance function, including but not limited to;
Production of cash flow forecasts,
Competition of several companies management accounts & subsequent group consolidation.
Active involvement in the monitoring of performance versus budgets including variance reporting,
Responsible for the day to day working capital and cash availability to meet demands,
Assist in the year end process ensuring Audit process is maintained,
Ensure compliance with  revenue rules such as GAAP and FRS,
Review/completion of VAT returns and external reporting requirements.
