Position Summary:
DPS Advanced Technology Group is seeking an Operations Technician to join our team in Cork, Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, maintaining, and supporting the project requirements. The coordination must be consistent with Client standards.

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated and adaptable person with some previous experience of working in a manufacturing/Lab environment. The ideal team members are adaptable and resilient, eager to approach operational tasks with curiosity and tenacity, and able to find ways to support our cross functional teams.

The successful candidate will be required to have excellent safety focus and demonstrate the ability to follow operating procedures, also with the ability to work well as part of a multifunctional team.

This position will be based in Cork

Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities shall include but not limited to:

  • Manage incoming and outgoing shipments including but not limited to receiving, dispatching, inspecting, storing, packaging wafers and other material and keeping systems updated
  • Using the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for tracking and recording as required.
  • Support setting up and maintain wafer storage and lab supplies
  • Support small scale production planning for global sites
  • Liaise with suppliers on tracking work progress and report to the project team
  • Communicate with research teams, projects managers and logistics teams for wafer transactions, daily priorities, and status updates
  • Support process improvement projects such a testing and build systems in the areas of inventory and wafer transaction management
  • Good written and verbal communications within the team and to cross-functional teams.

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum – Certificate or diploma in a Science, mathematical or engineering discipline

Working hours: 40 hours, Monday to Friday
