The Referral Scheme:

Terms and Conditions:

Locum GP = €1000
Contracted GP = €2000
Contracted GMS GP = €4000

Each referral can only be counted once. 

The referral bonus is paid in two halves – on commencement of employment and successful completion of the six-month probationary period.

Payment could be subject to tax.

Please note;

  • The figure for Locum GP is based on 6 weeks of full-time work for the first instalment, and subsequent 6 weeks of full-time work for the second instalment
  • Contracted GP - refers to a GP that is not on the IMC Specialist register, and is not eligible for a GMS list.
  • Contracted GMS GP - refers to a GP on the IMC Specialist register and/or eligible to take on a GMS list.
  • The rate for contracted GP referral is based on a minimum of 8 sessions and a pro-rata applicable if a reduced number of sessions is contracted.
